It's all soda to me.

Obviously, our country has many different dialects, accents, colloquialism, however, isn't it a bit odd how we call "soft drinks" different names? I, for one, am a die-hard "soda" person. Never in a million years will I ever call soda anything other than soda. Perhaps it's because I live on the east coast (and not down South, for that matter) that I prefer to address such drinks more ambiguously.

Those places where they call it "Pop"...
And they ask "Would you like a Pop?", I simply cannot resist the urge to say "No, thanks, I like my father enough to keep him around."

And Coke...
Let's think about poor Pepsi-Cola. It seems that Coca-cola is definitely having more advertising power.

Other/ None of the Above...
I'm a little concerned about this one, as according to the graph, southern Virginia seems to like to call it "Other". Just what in the world is this other? Fizz? Unhealthy alternative to water? Formula to make your kids bounce off the walls? Maybe they have their own secret password, thus, ...WE MAY NEVER KNOW.
