It's all soda to me.

Obviously, our country has many different dialects, accents, colloquialism, however, isn't it a bit odd how we call "soft drinks" different names? I, for one, am a die-hard "soda" person. Never in a million years will I ever call soda anything other than soda. Perhaps it's because I live on the east coast (and not down South, for that matter) that I prefer to address such drinks more ambiguously.

Those places where they call it "Pop"...
And they ask "Would you like a Pop?", I simply cannot resist the urge to say "No, thanks, I like my father enough to keep him around."

And Coke...
Let's think about poor Pepsi-Cola. It seems that Coca-cola is definitely having more advertising power.

Other/ None of the Above...
I'm a little concerned about this one, as according to the graph, southern Virginia seems to like to call it "Other". Just what in the world is this other? Fizz? Unhealthy alternative to water? Formula to make your kids bounce off the walls? Maybe they have their own secret password, thus, ...WE MAY NEVER KNOW.

Kate

I think this defines the brand Kate Spade completely. I hope that when I grow up, my phrases can be pregnant with such amazing word choice.

Dude, I'm dunzo.

I'm done with AP testing!! Yesss. I haven't thought about what I'm going to do in order to celebrate, but whatever it is, it's going to be fantastic. Come to think of it, I sort of miss testing (the missing class part), and also that this year, it hasn't been nearly as stressful as last year. The AP English Lang was...ehh. I actually found it a lot easier than I had originally anticipated as the language was not too difficult and several essay prompts were understandable. Unfortunately though, I was unable to use my beautifully-crafted scenario about my vase (It kind of made me a bit sad, but I got over it).

Here's to senior exams next year!
 Cheers.

One Last Chance...

To show CollegeBoard I haven't been completely slacking off this year...well, maybe just a little.
AP Count: 2. Bring it on, my toughest enemy, AP Lang/Comp.
As for today, I actually took some inspiration/artillery from the house in preparation for the essay portion of the exam (in case my head completely spaces, at least I have some pretty things to write about.)
So, I saw this amazing vase the other day...
It's the coolest thing ever, with specks of gold and rich paint, and a terrific glaze.
And the neck is just beautiful.
I also found a chair, and some clothes, and a watermelon. Hey, isn't that cool?
Boom. Essay #1. In case, I die of stress beforehand.
So excited to meet you, AP Lang/Comp exam!
Avec Amour, R.

Thank you, Mr. Brinkley.

 (via bing)
Due to my excessive review of my American History: A Survey by the coolest prof in the world, Alan Brinkley, I was able to complete the APUS exam rather smoothly. I'll just sit back and relax...and continue my studies tomorrow. AP Count: 2 to go. Music Theory, bring it on.

Also: Sunday is Mother's Day! I don't know at the moment what to get my darling mummy, but I believe a glitter project should suffice. Babies, a documentary by Focus is out this weekend!! Normally, I am not really onboard with the whole "baby" trend, but this movie is too cute to resist. Also, it will reinforce my appreciation for mom.
