Marc Jacobs will be a part of make-up artist extraordinaire, François Nars's new "15X15" book, featuring 15 celebs (Naomi Campbell included) dolled up with NARS, and photographed by Nars himself! I think personally that this picture is somewhat odd, and kind of funny. Of course, Marc does use Nars for his runway shows, but this takes it up a notch, don't you think? I'm not one to judge; besides, isn't it every girl's dream to have their make-up done by François...and some boys?!
Jacobs in real-time. My older cousin is a major fan of Marc by Marc Jacobs, and thus, everytime she visits, I see the logo of that girl with heavy bangs and sunglasses almost like it's deja-vu. I don't mind, though. His line is very whimsy and makes me want to be in kindergarten again...
Next: Alexander McQueen
Probably old news. But McQueen's heavy-shoe fetish is definitely brought forth in his Spring 2010 collection. I've seen some samples before, but I fell in love after I saw Lady Gaga's sparkly pair in which she donned for her "Bad Romance" music video. It's...so...pretty.
They boost an extra 10 inches...meaning I'll be 6"3'. But in reality, I'll probably die form tripping and land on my face even before I walk out the door. At least his vision is good.
So mythical, entering another dimension yet animalistic all the same. Love.
Karl Lagerfeld shows off his Chanel pistol heels. I feel like they should belong in a James Bond movie, or something. How amazingly cool if there were such shoes that have actual pistols attached on? Fashion and protection melded into one.
